how it all began
Nacre began in a kitchen with a bottle of olive oil, a handful of rose hips and a skin that would not settle. Today we still press, blend and bottle every formula ourselves, in small batches.
Every oil comes from a farm we have visited, every bottle is glass.
how we make
slow by nature, kind by design.
We press our oils cold so they keep their vitamins, filter them slowly and bottle them in dark glass. Nothing we make is tested on animals, and nothing is made in a hurry.

For every order we plant a tree with farmers who grow our olives and rose hips. Since our first batch that is more than 40,000 trees, and the soil under them is richer for it.
